Weighing a contract offer against waiting - first time posting

I got a contract offer for 15 months as a customer-service rep and I am unsure whether to accept. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have 5 months of savings left. How did you handle benefits?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
