Weighing a contract offer against waiting - first time posting

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have 8 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
