Weighing a contract offer against waiting - first time posting

I got a contract offer for 18 months as a nurse's aide and I am unsure whether to accept. The contract could extend.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
