Weighing a contract offer against waiting (Detroit)

Lukas Okonkwo · 2026-07-24T09:55:20.242Z

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. I am in Detroit, in case local advice matters. I have 8 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
