Weighing a contract offer against waiting - any advice?

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. I have 9 months of savings left. How did you handle benefits?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
