Weighing a contract offer against waiting - any advice?

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. It has been a long 14 weeks. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
