Weighing a contract offer against waiting after 7 years as a warehouse supervisor

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I worked as a warehouse supervisor before this. I have 3 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
