Weighing a contract offer against waiting after 14 years as an electrician's helper

Elena Okafor · 2026-09-18T03:56:19.706Z

I got a contract offer for 14 months as an electrician's helper and I am unsure whether to accept. Any experience at all would help. The contract could extend.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
