Weighing a contract offer against waiting - 7 weeks in

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have 14 months of savings left. How did you handle benefits?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
