Weighing a contract offer against waiting - 6 months and counting

Taylor Winters · 2026-07-22T02:36:14.590Z

I got a contract offer for 8 months as a welding apprentice and I am unsure whether to accept. I am in Madison, in case local advice matters. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
