Weighing a contract offer against waiting

I got a contract offer for 14 months as an office manager and I am unsure whether to accept. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have 6 months of savings left. How did you handle benefits?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
