Weighing a contract offer against waiting - 21 weeks in

I got a contract offer for 14 months as a call-centre agent and I am unsure whether to accept. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I would gain recent experience.

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
