Weighing a contract offer against waiting - 14 weeks in

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have 11 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
