They asked my salary range, what should I say? (update)

I have been out of work for 22 weeks and feel pressure to accept less. I am in Oklahoma City, in case local advice matters. I also do not want to sell myself short.

Check several sources for pay in Oklahoma City, then pick a range where the low end is one you can live with.
