They asked my salary range, what should I say?, teaching assistant here

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. Any experience at all would help. I looked up ranges in Cincinnati and they vary a lot. How do you research fairly?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

I gave a range based on local postings and said I was flexible depending on the whole package. They did not push back.
