They asked my salary range, what should I say?, software tester here

Vivek Andersson · 2026-05-19T15:23:00.543Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a software tester. I also do not want to sell myself short. How do you research fairly?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
