They asked my salary range, what should I say? - first time posting

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. I am in Providence, in case local advice matters. I also do not want to sell myself short. What did you say?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
