They asked my salary range, what should I say?

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. I am in Little Rock, in case local advice matters. I looked up ranges in Little Rock and they vary a lot. How do you research fairly?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
