They asked my salary range, what should I say?

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. I am in Toledo, in case local advice matters. I looked up ranges in Toledo and they vary a lot.

Check several sources for pay in Toledo, then pick a range where the low end is one you can live with.

I gave a range based on local postings and said I was flexible depending on the whole package. They did not push back.
