They asked my salary range, what should I say? after 9 years as a production planner

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I looked up ranges in Portland and they vary a lot. What did you say?

I gave a range based on local postings and said I was flexible depending on the whole package. They did not push back.
