They asked my salary range, what should I say? after 6 years as a pharmacy technician

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. Any experience at all would help. I also do not want to sell myself short. What did you say?

Benefits matter too. A slightly lower rate with better coverage was better for me.
