They asked my salary range, what should I say? after 5 years as an accounts payable clerk

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I also do not want to sell myself short. How do you research fairly?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
