Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - what worked for you?

I got a contract offer for 16 months as a pharmacy technician and I am unsure whether to accept. Thank you in advance. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
