Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - what worked for you?

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
