Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - what worked for you?

I got a contract offer for 6 months as a sales associate and I am unsure whether to accept. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
