Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - what worked for you?

I got a contract offer for 8 months as a customer-service rep and I am unsure whether to accept. I have 11 months of savings left. What would you do?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
