Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - what worked for you?

I got a contract offer for 9 months as a quality inspector and I am unsure whether to accept. It has been weighing on me all week. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
