Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? (update)

I got a contract offer for 16 months as a hotel front-desk agent and I am unsure whether to accept. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have 10 months of savings left. How did you handle benefits?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
