Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? (update)

I got a contract offer for 9 months as a project coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
