Temp-to-hire offer, worth it?, medical assistant here

I got a contract offer for 15 months as a medical assistant and I am unsure whether to accept. I worked as a medical assistant before this. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
