Temp-to-hire offer, worth it?, graphic designer here

I got a contract offer for 5 months as a graphic designer and I am unsure whether to accept. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
