Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - first time posting

I got a contract offer for 4 months as a forklift operator and I am unsure whether to accept. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The contract could extend. What would you do?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
