Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - first time posting

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I would gain recent experience. What would you do?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
