Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - first time posting

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. It has been a long 5 weeks. I have 9 months of savings left. What would you do?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
