Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? (Detroit)

I got a contract offer for 15 months as a hotel front-desk agent and I am unsure whether to accept. I would gain recent experience. What would you do?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
