Temp-to-hire offer, worth it?, dental hygienist here

I got a contract offer for 5 months as a dental hygienist and I am unsure whether to accept. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
