I got a contract offer for 18 months as an IT help-desk technician and I am unsure whether to accept. There are 18 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The contract could extend. How did you handle benefits?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
