Temp-to-hire offer, worth it?, customer-service rep here

I got a contract offer for 12 months as a customer-service rep and I am unsure whether to accept. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The contract could extend.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
