Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? (Cincinnati)

I got a contract offer for 3 months as a machine operator and I am unsure whether to accept. I worked as a machine operator before this. I have 9 months of savings left.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
