Temp-to-hire offer, worth it?, bookkeeper here

I got a contract offer for 17 months as a bookkeeper and I am unsure whether to accept. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have 10 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
