Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - any advice?

I got a contract offer for 14 months as a dental hygienist and I am unsure whether to accept. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have 3 months of savings left. What would you do?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
