Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - any advice?

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I would gain recent experience.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
