Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - any advice?

I got a contract offer for 17 months as a production planner and I am unsure whether to accept. It has been a long 8 weeks. I have 3 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
