Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - any advice?

I got a contract offer for 3 months as a forklift operator and I am unsure whether to accept. I worked as a forklift operator before this. I would gain recent experience.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
