Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? after 4 years as an accounts payable clerk

I got a contract offer for 4 months as an accounts payable clerk and I am unsure whether to accept. I have 11 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
