Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? after 18 years as an office manager

I got a contract offer for 18 months as an office manager and I am unsure whether to accept. It has been a long 5 weeks. I have 3 months of savings left. How did you handle benefits?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
