Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? after 17 years as an accountant

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. The contract could extend. How did you handle benefits?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
