Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? after 17 years as a teaching assistant

Oluwaseun Nystrom · 2026-05-05T15:02:58.620Z

I got a contract offer for 17 months as a teaching assistant and I am unsure whether to accept. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
