Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? after 10 years as an office manager

I got a contract offer for 10 months as an office manager and I am unsure whether to accept. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have 7 months of savings left. How did you handle benefits?

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
