Temp-to-hire offer, worth it?

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I worked as a dental hygienist before this. I have 3 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
